I'm Folake — known to my clients as Baberuth. I've been doing nails since 2019, starting back home in Benin City, Nigeria, and have spent the last two years building my chair here in the UK. Every set is glossy, precise, and made to last.

From Benin City to Manchester, one set at a time

Nails have never just been a skill for me — they're something I carry with me everywhere. I've built friendships over a manicure table and trained students who've gone on to run their own successful businesses. Every appointment is a chance to do that again.

2019
Where it started. Trained and worked as a nail technician in Benin City, Nigeria, building the foundation for everything that came after.
2024
Moved to the UK. Relocated to Manchester in January 2024 and began building a new client base from scratch.
Today
Two years strong in the UK. Gradually growing a loyal clientele around Salford and Eccles, one referral and one repeat client at a time.

Appointment policy

A few things to know before booking, so your appointment runs smoothly for both of us.

First

Come prepared

Please decide on your nail shape and design before your appointment, and send a reference picture in advance if you can.

  • I specialise in BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) — it's worth knowing what this involves beforehand.
  • Curing under the lamp can bring a brief heat sensation, and builder gel has a distinct scent some clients aren't expecting.
Second

Timing & deposits

Once your date and time are confirmed, a £10 deposit secures the appointment.

  • A £10 late fee applies if you arrive more than 15 minutes late.
  • Excessive lateness may mean your appointment is shortened or rescheduled.
Third

During your appointment

Please keep phone use to a minimum while I work — it helps the appointment run smoothly and on time for the client booked after you.

Fourth

No rushing, please

Don't book if you're on a tight schedule. I take my time to make sure the work is right — if you have somewhere to be afterwards, book an earlier slot so there's room to do it properly.
